Frequent Questions about our UVU Apartments

We provide couches, a large TV in the living room, an internet router, microwaves, fridge, oven, bed frames, mattresses, and a closet.

Here at Village on the Parkway, we offer 12 month contracts that are renewable.

12 month shared : $375

12 month private: $580

Our apartments have 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. There are 6 people in every apartment- 2 shared rooms, 2 private rooms, and 2 bathrooms.

There isn’t a flat fee utility charge. Because we give the option to control your thermostats, the average utility bill will be $40-60. This includes gas, heating, electricity, and renters insurance.

The Internet costs $19/mo. We offer 250 mbs to each unit.  Each Unit offers a wired connection access point at the desk in the bedroom and WIFI.

The down payment is $450. This includes a $170 non refundable deposit, $200 refundable deposit, $60 app fee, & $20 utility billing set up fee.

Parking is $25/month.

$25/month for parking, $19/month for internet, & $12/month for renter’s insurance.

We have an indoor pool/spa, basketball court, and sandpit volleyball court. Our BEST amenity is the FREE private shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes from 6:30am-5:00pm taking our residents to and from UVU’s campus. The shuttle also runs to the local Walmart twice a week (on an as need basis).

We are part of a UVU  program that assigns VP two student leaders to create fun and enjoyable weekly activities either on campus, with other complexes or here at VP.  The clubhouse is a fun gathering place for residents with free cable TV, pool table, ping pong table and the pool and hot tub that are open all year!

There is a UTA shuttle bus stop located right outside the entrance of Village on the Parkway. Students ride free with UVU identification. You can find the schedule by downloading the UTA app or texting the number on the bus stop sign.

There is also the Frontrunner train station located in walking distance from Village on the Parkway.

We will provide furniture; including a mattress, bed frame, wardrobe, couches, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stools. You should bring your own bedding, dishes, bathroom items, and a TV if you want one.

Village on the Parkway is not considered BYU housing because it is outside of the mandatory border for BYU approved student housing.

Yes! There is an option to request a roommate on your application. You can also contact us directly with roommate requests.

Yes. Each person will be required to sign up for a job within their apartment for monthly cleaning inspections.

Pre-approved ESA animals are allowed

Our application will ask questions that will help with roommate matching. BUT unlike other complexes – – VP offers unit transfers with NO COST or FEES.

Option 1. You can sell your lease at any time! (VP is the only complex that allows contract transfers to a new resident without any additional fees charged.) Option 2 – You can pay off the remainder owed on your lease to end your contract early. Please ask the office for questions you might have.
